Colorless volatile liquid, with a strong ammonia odor, flammable. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents. The explosion limit in air is 1.2%~8.0%. It is alkaline. Its vapor forms an explosive mixture with air, which causes combustion and explosion in case of open flame and high heat energy. It can react strongly with oxidants.
